Since effective parenting is so difficult to achieve in today's challenging society, many parents are reaching out to participate in Active Parenting Classes.  


This class will be in person.


Each Active Parenting education workshop is customized for children of different ages, but every class will cover come core effective parenting skills, including:


  • Effective, nonviolent discipline techniques
  • Teaching mutual respect
  • The power of encouragement 
  • Successful communication skills


With these tips for effective parenting, and many more, you will be sure to make parenting decisions with confidence when confronted with difficult situation at home.

Session VI: Active Parenting for School Success

- 7 Smart Things for School Success

- Structuring homework time

-Tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs

-Family Talks

Please check with the deciding authority about its requirements before registering for an Active Parenting Online Group.  A certificate of completion is available to print at the end of the course (upon successful completion of the final quiz).
